    AT&T agrees to sell Mexico wireless unit to Televisa–Fintech consortium for $2 billion

    AT&T announced October 13 that it agreed to sell AT&T Mexico to a 50/50 consortium of Grupo Televisa and Fintech Holdings for $2 billion in cash at closing, subject to adjustments. Mexico regulatory approvals are pending and completion is expected in Q1 2027; the business had about 24.7 million subscribers at end-2025.
